First, thanks for Smile In My Heart. I love it! Second, I really wish I had something that would always lift my spirits and remind me of the happiness in life. I wish it were as simple as a bowl of Cake Batter ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery (if you've never had it, I highly recommend it!). What usually works for me when I am in the middle of a bad day is just to get away from it for a while, even if it's just to send the kids to their own rooms so I can get just a smidge of quiet time. Usually, I need a good night's sleep and some prayer time in order to really change my perspective. Even that doesn't always work, but I try not to wallow in self-pity for any length of time, or else I know I can just spiral right down. It really is all about attitude!
