Sparkly Shoes and a Freebie! {Ordinary Joy}

{edited to include freebie info only}

Ok, ok. Enough about me and my sparkly attitude. I know what you all really want . . . the digital scrapbook freebie!! This kit was inspired by my son. Just outside playing and picking some pretty weeds to give to me. Just an everyday moment. The kind that brings you joy. And the kind I never want to forget!

Here's the DOWNLOAD LINK. And please, leave me a comment here if you you like it or use it. I'd love to see what you all do with it. For credit, if you post a layout somewhere:
Ordinary Joy by Beth Nixon from her blog (and post the address,

Here's a look at the kit in action with a layout featuring little boy.

And, please, feel free to pass along the link to my blog to who ever might be interested. And if you have a blog, I'd love if you'd link my blog up in your blog. And show me! I'll be sure to check out your blog too!!

Enjoy!

You know I love your birdie kits, this goes so well with Winging It!

Love the sparkly shoes analogy, you are inspiring me! But, dude, don't lose all your sarcasm, or we won't know how to communicate with each other!

And I am going to try to find me some sparkly shoes too! Just like Meg I also feel inspired. I have been feeling like a long rant today but now I feel better and the things that were heavy on my mind just don't seem all that important anymore. Thanks for helping clear the fog and let me see clearly. I would much rather think happy thoughts. You made my day!

Ahhhh! I had some shoes like that too - except mine were canvas tennis shoes with clowns painted on them that grew to be two sizes too small. And there were all I'd wear. I still miss those . . .

This kit is fantastic, but even more fantastic is the sparkly shoes story. Children are fantastic for showing us what is really important in life. I will definitely be using this kit and I'll be sure to show you what I've made with it when I do!

Be Blessed,

Hey Beth... my niece has those same shoes in Silver... SHE totally LOVES them. I guess the only way to give those shoes up is if their toes bust out of them, and then they might not... anywho... thanks for the awesome goodie!

I got some sparkly shoes on clearance since that is how I shop with 5 Granddaughters... the oldest is 5 and she had some dressy shoes her dad had bought her but they hurt her feet so turned out the sparklys fit her and I let her wear them while we were at the botanical gardens and now she wears them EVERYDAY ;) No harm done even thought the sparkles are getting all scuffed off because she's happy!! Thank You for the birdies ;)

Love the sparkly shoes concept. It reminds me of my best friend--she almost always has her sparkly shoes on, while I on the other hand have yet to find them LOL. Okay, so I keep them buried deep in my closet.

Love love love the kit! If I could just have some time to scrap! Anyway, thanks so much for sharing and I also wanted to note that I look forward to reading your blog everyday. Seriously, you're in my Google Reader. Thanks for sharing yourself w/all of us :)

So, I like this choosing happiness idea. Any ideas where I can find a pair of those sparkle shoes in my size? :)

Thank you for this post. Yeah...I know it's late coming, but I just found it!) Anyway, I appreciate the story and appreciate the idea behind it. I just started my own blog after thinking about it for years. I think it's going to be a good thing. One, it gives me the opportunity to write again, and two, in thinking about the stories I post and the points I want to make I believe it helps me look more for the good in life and people instead of dwelling on the negative. Thanks again for the visual of the sparkly shoes, and the reminder to enjoy life.
