I Need To SHUT-UP {plus Print It Now FREEBIE!}

{edited to include freebie info only}

Well, I created these to do just that in just a few clicks! Now, I can plop these fun frames on my photos, add a few simple words, if I want, and send them off to get printed! I'll fill up my 4"x6" album in no time and STILL feel like I've added my special creative touch!

You can DOWNLOAD THE FRAMES HERE!
(link will be good until mid-August or so)

And, please, let me know if you like them! I had LOTS of fun creating them and will put together more if you all like 'em!

So, leave me a comment . . . a link to anything you create . . . cause that lets me know you want more!

If you post online, credit:

Ok, that last part was fun . . . posting the freebie.

You all have a GREAT Friday!

Oh Beth, Beth, Beth ... you sound like me with my girls. Sometimes it's like my head will explode off my body and they could not care less provided they have what THEY want.

I lose the mother-of-the-year award by January 2 of every year, so don't feel bad.

Thanks Bethy - first for the freebie - told you yesterday I could NOT wait to get them! But also for being so real about this thing called Mommyhood. I love my boys - and since having my new one (two weeks old today!) the 5 and 2 year old are getting on my nerves. I know that they want to hold and touch the newbie like I do, but trying to feed him while they play with him ... it is aggravating. And I simply forgot how tired a newborn can make you feel. Sigh. Let me go find some happiness/patience! LOL!

To be honest, I think even the picture perfect moms will have days and moments like this... they are just better at hiding them! ;)

thanks for another freebie!

and do you by any chance have a 150x50 fan blinke? would love to sport that on forums!

Thanks, they are great and of course I clicked on the ads on your blog.

Bethy!!! Loved your post today. My DD has 3 boys and we don't even have nice weather here, so the bickering is CONSTANT!! Take heart, school will start again, you'll have some bicker free time again. And all they hear is "waa waa waa", so you're not doing any 'irreparable damage' that we mother's worry so much about.

And love the freebie, GREAT idea!! Thanks.

Thanks for the freebie!!

Someone once told me to be glad when the kids have meltdowns only at home, cause that means they are secure with you and know they can be themselves.

Not always possible to bear with it I know. I react precisely like you!

I'm so glad you visited my blog so that I would come back to yours and find your fab little picture doodle frames... love them!

and....... I love the slip n slide story... it's been probably 30 years since I have even been on one

Thank you Beth, for letting me know I'm not the only one. I SO want to enjoy my kids, but when they start going at each other with the bickering and the "he's touching me" or "she's in my spot", my head feels like it is going to explode!

Thanks also for the frames. Can't wait to download them and start playing!

I'm a new mother. My daughter will be five months next week and I can tell you with just the little bit of motherhood knowledge that I know--ALL mothers feel like they are not in the running for mother of the year. But we are to our children. We are to hard on ourselves. I really can't believe that there is one perfect mom out there who never loses there temper or loses patience.

Thanks so much for the beautiful freebie frames! It's not always easy being a super mom. Sometimes we have not so shining moments, just remember the happy ones.

These are wonderful. Thanks Bethy! I also am registered with Shutterfly but have not used them. I have been digiscrapping since July '07 and I just keep learning new stuff!

loonyhiker said...

Thanks so much for the frames. As for the slip n slide, maybe the children were overstimulated from camp and you were exhausted from setting it up. Don't be so hard on yourself. A bad mom wouldn't care about their kids having fun. Hopefully the nap helped put everyone in better spirits.

Ahh--my older 2 are just getting to the bickering stage---I understand!

The frames are a great idea! Perfect way to dress up a photo!

LOL Beth! I had a chuckle over your blog today. I suspect that writing about these trying episodes in a humorous way cheers you up and gives you a chuckle as much as it does for us. Thanks for the freebie....and the humor!

Oh, I can so relate to this!!!

The freebie is just awesome! Thank you for sharing so freely!

I love your decision to choose to be happy! I have enjoyed reading your honest words and thoughts so much! You have been given the "Blog of Distinction" award at http://dailydwelling.com

BTDT! Gawd! I could copy and paste your post almost word for word to describe a multitude of days with my two younger kids. They're 9 and 6, so I've definitely had more time to try to figure it out but there's just no telling what will set it all off. It's Chaos Theory in action, I tell ya!

The "Print it Now" stuff is fabulous! I do this all the time myself. This really helps since I am not as talented as you.

Thank you!

Oh, hon, I feel your pain I have a 6 yr old, and a newly 4 yr old. They wouldn't go to sleep last night, and everytime I went in their room I hurt my foot on a toy. I finally turned on the light and told them if they weren't going to sleep that they could clean their room. They threw fits, and the 4 year old smarted off to me that I was a mean mom. Well that set me off, and if I was gonna be a mean mama then I would clean up. I went and got trash bags and started bagging toys up. That set them both to screaming. Mind you this is at 10:30pm. Not my shining moment. Thanks for the great framing. I need to get tons of photos printed too. Patty

LOL! I'm thinking it must be "full whine" season right now. PK is the WORST at the whining right now, and suddenly can no longer do anything for himself. I've started telling him he won't be able to go to pre-school, he'll have to go back to daycare where the babies go. Pre School only takes little boys who can do things themselves. BK has started picking up the phone and calling Santa Clause to report his bad behavior while I look the other way and laugh, just to get him to comply with requests. So yeah, I'm not winning any mom of the year awards either.

WHat a fun read on your blog today. THis is my first time visiting and it brought back "Mom of the Year" NOT times of my life. I'm 70 and raised 4 kids and well remember those times. Guess what, they all turned out great. Married and giving me lots of grandchildren so they too can "Moms and Dads of the Year" LOL

I absolutely love your frames - these make it so simple to make really nice 4x6 prints. If you feel like making more, be my guest :)

Thanks so much - big help for me in scrapping all the grandkids.

Beautiful frames! I agree that each photo does not need to be scrapbooked, and this makes a beautiful quick "page". I loved reading about your adventure, it sounds like my house!

I agree with you, it's not easy being a mom, at least not a good one. But the most important thing is that we try, right? And I believe that if we are aware of the fact that we are not always supermoms, then we ARE good moms =D Thanks for the superfreebie =)

these frames are fabulous, can't wait to use them:) I always tell my kids now 12 and 14, that I am a MOM not a REFEREE! Which is of course what I feel like most of the time, just trying to keep the peace:) Then DH and wonders why I am not in a happy, cheerful mood.

Beth you fun day sounds a lot like the fun days I have been trying to have lately. The all seem to end up with us all in separatet rooms so that we don't yell & scream at each other.

Thanks so much for the neat freebie

Beth,

I love the frames! Wonderful idea and thank you for the tip that Shutterfly lets you choose text for the backs of the photos.

I did read your slip-n-slide story with a smile. Every mother knows exactly how you feel so don't be hard on yourself.

Oh, and mother of the year, ah, I would never get that - but I think I'm getting pretty high up on the "mother always asking forgiveness" award! LOL

These frames are great, Bethy! Thanks so much!

I had only one child, KNOWING I wouldn't be able to handle the bickering, but I had to anyway -- whenever DD's friends came over (especially her favorites). It got to the point that I told them ahead of time, if they couldn't share things, I would take that item away from them all. If they still didn't get along, I would take them home. I did take girls home a couple of times, though and at least I had that option. In your situation, maybe a little quiet time beforehand in their rooms, then slip n slide with the understanding if they couldn't get along, there would be no more today. Popsicles only AFTER they behaved well. Just a thought. Good luck and don't even TRY to be super mom! Be kind to yourself!

Hehe, I had to snicker during your account of the slide afternoon, because I can relate so totally well to that. I have two 'sweet ' little princesses, who love each other dearly and play really well together, but there are days (and not too rarely unfortunately) when they just cannot stop bickering and getting on each other's nerves (and mine of course).

thank you so much for these beautiful frames. I'll definitely try them out.

the frames are beautiful - thank so much!

and losing your temper is the easy part - knowing you did AND THEN APOLOGIZING is the hard part = which most moms (and dads) don't do. Kudos for you for KNOWING you made a booboo!

Thanks for visiting my blog. As you probably read I have a son (4 1/2) that needs special help too. He is only in pre-school soon to be pre-K now but we have had IEPs for over a year now and TSS in place. I now how exhausting it can be to have the patience for just that child and mixing in the sibling is even more of a challenge. I have an almost 9 Diva who often times is frustrated by her brother and performs.

Thanks so much for allowing me to download these freebies. I don't know how to use them but I saved them for when I can figure it out.

Oh, Beth. This is my first visit to your blog but boy have I found a soul sister. I have two kids,9 & 6, boy and a girl. We're on vacation at the moment and we're supposed to be having a fab time, right? Uh-uh, cuz all I seem to be doing is yelling at my kids for fighting, arguing and bickering! Could it be the moon or is it just life? Oh well, I still love them and try to forgive myself for being human.

Really love the frames and can't wait to use them. So many ideas! Thanks for your honesty, too. Sometimes we feel like we're all alone in our moments of "madness".
