Sorry you're having a rough go, Beth. I think you need a chiropractor and a really good massage!

Sorry things aren't so great right now. It'll turn around somehow. Things seem to always find a way to work out in the end. And you're such a positive person to keep what you're thankful for in sight.

What an awesome freebie kit Beth!!!! I had to laugh about your comment to "let you know" if we would like more freebies. Simply YES!!!! If this kit was done in a drug-induced haze, I think you should stay on them and get a few more designed. LOL. Maybe you could name the next one Hazy Daze. LOL.

Okay....today I am thankful for my computer each time it boots up successfully and thankful for my big honkin' 1TB external hard drive to hold all of my photos and scrap goodies backed up! AND thankful for the wonderful freebies you are so generously creating!!!

Hi! I just discovered your blog and got caught up on your recent run of bad luck. So sorry, I know how that goes! Back in April, I was admitted to the hospital after a long day running around to my doctor, the lab, and the ER. I had an appendectomy (well, not really, but that's a long story!). The day after I went home, my 9 year old son fell in the shower and we were back at the ER getting stitches (8 of them, thank you) over my son's right eyebrow. The NEXT night, my 11 year old daughter stepped on our 15 pound dog's front leg and we were at the all night (which is code for "expensive") animal emergency room (pup's leg wasn't broken, thankfully). That was an expensive week, seeing as we don't have great health insurance.

But, I am thankful that we have access to healthcare, even if it is expensive. That we can afford the expense, even if it means some other things have to wait. That my son didn't lose his eye, that I didn't have a ruptured appendix or something worse, like cancer, and that my doggy's leg was just bruised and sore, not broken like we feared.

Whew, that's a long comment (the longest I've ever left anywhere)! I'm probably going to come back and let you know my general list of "thankful fors". I just wanted to commiserate with you and tell you that I could really relate to your recent experiences! Good luck with everything, and I'll be checking back in to see how everything turns out!

I'm so happy I can still get your kits, Beth. I'm way behind because I had a computer crash in June in which I lost two month's worth of layouts and about 6 months worth of photos (ugh), not to mention all the posting bonuses I'd collected since October. Moral of the story: back up!!! and don't stop. In any case, I just posted a layout with Sweet Summer: Eliza.

Thanks again for the freebies. I may not be posting much, but I'm furiously collecting. :)
